Parsing isolates each node, so a declaration we cannot make sense of costs that one feature instead of the whole document. These records exist so the loss is visible rather than silent — surface them in a UI, log them, or assert on them in tests.

Name attribute, when the element had one.

error: String

Rendered parse error explaining why the node was dropped.
