Performance
Where the milliseconds go, measured per image on the public sample frames — not generic
aggregates. Each frame is run as a matrix of detector configurations (ChESS and Radon, every refiner and
orientation method), decomposed into four stages. On corner-dense frames the per-corner orientation fit,
not the dense response, dominates the wall-clock cost.
